Love is Beautiful

So, I enjoy Twitter & one of my favorite things to do is look up celebrities I admire to see what they feel important enough to post. Sometimes I tweet them & receive “favorites” or “retweets” from fellow fans or very occasionally from the celebrities themselves (hello to Dylan McDermott , Allyson Stoner, Ally Maki, Scout Willis among a few others). I make it a point to never tweet anything negative or insulting because, frankly, there’s enough of that saturating the internet already.

Instead, I’m in a bit of that “reeling” moment–feeling angry and upset. Click here for more.

Egg Rock 'N Roll Event

So, time refuses to stand still. In my eyes, he’s a small little boy, but there are so many indications (and friends who refuse to indulge me in my denial) that point to a boy slowly but surely growing into a man. He makes me incredibly proud with his growing list of accomplishments and most of all, his strong moral character. Click here for more...

Rocking the Ocean

Check out these stylish Rock the Ocean fashions & contribute to aiding the cause of ocean conservation. With the funds they raise through their rock concerts and lifestyle apparel, they “increase public awareness about issues impacting the world’s oceans and support scientific research, education, and ocean conservation initiatives.” It’s a worthwhile organization...Click here for more...

So my 4th Grader, along with his Dad & sometimes his big brother have been on a 3 week journey designing, gathering, and creating Mission San Carlos Borromeo for a Class Project assignment.  For my son and for his Dad, it’s been a very fun experience. Click here for more...

We are Catholic, but it’s not about Religion. It’s about striving to be a good person, helping others & not judging, living a meaningful existence.  As a family, we’ve decided to do several things this Lent... Click for more
