Check out this informative video released by the California Sea Grant and Hoag Hospital as part of their "Project Wipeout" series directed to all beach goers. Beaches are such a treat and loads of fun. But always, always keep safety a priority. Remember that as beautiful as the ocean is, it is also very dangerous.
1. Check in with the lifeguard to find out what the current conditions are. (Thank you, lifeguards!)
2. Put on sunscreen!
3. When hurt, seek out medical attention.

1. Educate yourself on ocean life and how to protect them.
2. Youngsters, if interested, check out Junior Lifeguard programs in your area.
