What's up, Bookaholics?

Here I am again with three more books I've enjoyed recently. As always, I try to minimize the spoilers so check out these selections at your local book retailers (or the library).  Please feel free to make a comment at the bottom or Tweet me with your own book recommendations or your thoughts on the following titles. I LOVE reading! <3

Jinxed by Beth Ciotta

·        Afia is twice married, twice widowed, and a slave to the belief and superstition that she is cursed.  Born on Friday the 13th and seemingly plagued with bad luck, she doesn’t trust that she is meant for happiness.  After losing her fortune and with some unbeknownst maneuvering by her well-meaning Godfather, she ends up working for Jake, a private investigator.  Jake takes on Afia simply as a job—watch out for her & keep her out of trouble—well that was his intention anyway.  But you know…you can’t really control the journey of love. Warning: lots of feels, steamy scenes, and a hot gallant hero, and a beautiful strong heroine.

The Baker’s Man by Jennifer Moorman

·         Do you believe in magic? You just might after reading the super “sweet” love story of Eli and Anna.  I have to warn you, while reading this novel, you might get a craving for cupcakes, danishes, doughnuts, and anything with frosting on it.  There’s nothing more supernatural than the lure of love and romance—add some chocolate into the mix and you have me in your corner. I super enjoyed this dessert filled love story.

Frayed (Torn Series 2)by Pamela Ann

·         At first read, it’s hard to find any sympathy for the lead character Trista.  The life decisions she has made for herself are hard to understand and they not only affect just her but so many people around her.  She meets Taylor who sees right through her hard exterior and literally and figuratively saves her life.  But she still has so many internal demons to fight, realizations she needs to come up with on her own.  Will be able to come up with the right decisions for her happiness on time? Warning: plenty of steamy and graphic scenes.

This book is part of a series but is a stand-alone story and can be read without reading the other books in the series.

Have no where to go?
Safe travels beautiful readers. <3
